The Center for Inquiry (CFI) was founded by Paul Kurtz and is the offspring of the combination of CSICOP (Carl Sagan, Isaac Asimov) and The Dawkins Foundation (Richard Dawkins). It is at the forefront of the fight to promote reason, science, critical thinking and skeptical inquiry in the face of pseudoscience and disinformation worldwide. If there’s an organization that devotes itself to Kant’s motto Sapere Aude — dare to know — this is it. The CFI dares all of us to know, and works tirelessly to give everyone the tools and the freedom to do so.
